How to Play 6D Lotto

6D Lotto is, in PCSO’s words, the active gaming form of the Traditional Sweepstakes. You choose one digit from 0 to 9 in each of six columns, and your digits must match the draw in exact order.

It is played nationwide and drawn on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:00 PM. Besides the first prize, smaller prizes go to tickets whose first or last two to five digits match.

How to play

  1. Mark one digit from 0 to 9 in each of the six columns of a 6D playslip, or tell the teller your numbers, or ask for a Lucky Pick.
  2. Mark the amount to play in the AMT column. The minimum is ₱10 per combination, and prizes are paid per ₱10 played.
  3. To play the same digits in later draws, mark the number of consecutive draws (2 to 6) in the DRAW panel.
  4. Check the 9:00 PM result: the first prize needs all six digits in exact order; the other prizes need the first or last digits in order.

The first prize is pari-mutuel: the prize pool is shared among the winners in proportion to their bets, and each winner is guaranteed at least ₱150,000 per ₱10 played. If nobody wins, the pool carries over to the next draw.

Odds of winning

Each of the six digits has 10 possibilities, so there are 1,000,000 possible results: one ₱10 play has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance at the first prize. Matching exactly the first five or last five digits (the ₱40,000 prize) is 18 chances in 1,000,000, about 1 in 55,556.

Every draw is independent: past results, "hot" numbers and predictions do not change these odds. Play only what you can afford to lose.
