How to Claim a PCSO Lotto Prize
Where to claim depends on how much you won. Here is where to go, what to bring and how long you have, based on PCSO's own rules. Basahin sa Tagalog
Where to claim, by prize amount
| Prize | Where to claim |
|---|---|
| ₱20 – ₱10,000 | Any authorized lotto outlet, or a PCSO branch office in your area |
| ₱10,001 – ₱300,000 | A PCSO branch office in your area, or the PCSO Main Office (2nd Floor) |
| Above ₱300,000, and jackpots | Validated and claimed at the PCSO Main Office (2nd Floor) |
These limits are from PCSO's general lotto FAQ. The official 2D, 3D, 4D and 6D game pages list branch offices as paying prizes up to ₱500,000 — if your prize is between ₱300,001 and ₱500,000, ask your branch before travelling.
Step by step
- Check your numbers against the official result. Every draw has its own page here — start from the latest results or the game's results page. For 2D, 3D, 4D and 6D the order of the numbers matters; for the six-number lotto games it doesn't.
- Write your name and sign the back of the ticket. PCSO asks winners to do this before claiming; it establishes that the ticket is yours.
- Keep the ticket intact. PCSO pays only on tickets free from mutilation, erasures or stains that make any number illegible. Don't fold it across the barcode, laminate it or leave it in the sun.
- Bring two valid IDs with your photo and signature, such as your National ID, passport, driver's license or UMID.
- Go to the right place for the amount (see the table above). Small prizes are paid on the spot at the outlet; larger prizes go through validation at a PCSO office.
- Expect the tax to be deducted. For any prize above ₱10,000, PCSO withholds a 20% final tax before paying — a ₱100,000 prize is paid as ₱80,000. See tax on lotto winnings.
The one-year deadline
A winning ticket is valid for one year from the draw date. After that the prize is forfeited and goes to the PCSO charity fund, which pays for medical and other assistance. If you find an old ticket, check its draw date first: the date is printed on the ticket, and you can look up the result for that date in our archive, which goes back to 2016.
Claiming a jackpot
Jackpot prizes are validated and claimed at the PCSO Main Office, 2nd Floor. Bring the signed ticket and your two IDs. The jackpot is split equally if more than one ticket matched all six numbers, and the 20% tax applies to your share. PCSO lists the address and contact numbers of the Main Office in its office directory.
System plays and multiple winning tickets
A system play (for example System 7 on 6/45) covers many combinations on one ticket, so a single ticket can win several prizes at once. PCSO publishes a system play prize payout chart for each game; see the game guides for the combinations each system play covers.
Keep your ticket safe
Whoever presents the winning ticket is the one PCSO pays, which is why signing it matters. Keep it somewhere dry and private, don't post photos of it online, and check the result carefully — the official PCSO result prevails over any website, including this one.
