How to Play 6/42 Lotto
Lotto 6/42 is the Philippines’ first national lottery game, according to PCSO. You pick six numbers from 1 to 42 and win the jackpot — at least ₱10 million, net of the agent’s prize commission — by matching all six.
It is drawn on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:00 PM, and it has the best jackpot odds of all the six-number games.

How to play
- Get a playslip at any PCSO lotto outlet and mark six numbers from 1 to 42 in one board, using blue or black ink — or tick Lucky Pick (LP) and let the terminal choose.
- Pay ₱25 per board (one combination, one draw). To play the same numbers again, mark the number of consecutive draws in the DRAW panel, up to six.
- Want more coverage? Mark a System play (System 5-Roll or System 7 to 12) instead of a single combination; the ticket then covers every combination of your numbers.
- Keep your ticket, check the result after the 9:00 PM draw, and sign the back right away if you win.

| You match | Prize |

Odds of winning
There are 5,245,786 ways to choose six numbers from 42, so one ₱25 play has a 1 in 5,245,786 chance at the jackpot — the best of the PCSO lotto games.
Every draw is independent: past results, "hot" numbers and predictions do not change these odds. Play only what you can afford to lose.
System plays
A System play covers every six-number combination of the numbers you mark on one ticket. System 7 to System 12 let you mark 7 to 12 numbers; System 5-Roll fixes five numbers and pairs them with every remaining number as the sixth. Each covered combination costs ₱25, and a winning System ticket can win several prizes at once.
| Play | Combinations | Total cost |
|---|---|---|
| System 5-Roll | 37 | ₱925 |
| System 7 | 7 | ₱175 |
| System 8 | 28 | ₱700 |

| System 10 | 210 | ₱5,250 |
